Irene Doerner spent much of her career in Toronto hospitality, while in her spare time running the occasional marathon, participating in duathlons, and attaining certification in Pilates. After moving to Oregon, she became an LMT through Oregon School of Massage in 2019 and saw this as a perfect way to parlay her extensive service experience and interest in body mechanics into a vocation of connecting with and helping people. Irene believes that movement is medicine and utilizes a range of experience and tools to tailor each bodywork session. Her scope of practice includes both Eastern and Western modalities such as Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Cupping and Gua Sha, Lymphatic, Myofascial and Deep tissue massage. She also has studied with Advanced Trainings, specializing in TMJ and whiplash. In Irene’s spare time, she can be found on a pilates reformer exploring the PNW or seeing live music with her husband, Steve and son, Luke.
