Ghazal’s academic journey began at York University, where she completed a Specialized Honours Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. During her time at York, she gained experience working with Tennis Canada and the Ontario Tennis Association as part of a national training camp. Her interest in human performance, movement optimization, and injury prevention led her to pursue physiotherapy at University College Dublin, where she earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Ghazal has pursued advanced training to support an integrative and performance-based approach to care. She has completed the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program and obtained her Pilates Matwork certification through Body Harmonics. Her treatment approach combines hands-on therapy, rehabilitation Pilates, and neurofunctional acupuncture to improve movement efficiency, optimize performance in sport and daily activities, and support injury prevention and recovery. Ghazal works collaboratively with her clients to identify functional goals and develop individualized treatment plans that address the underlying causes of injury or dysfunction. She has a particular interest in helping clients move better, return to activity safely, and build long-term resilience through movement-based rehabilitation. In her spare time, Ghazal enjoys staying active through weight training/her Pilates practice and spending quality time with her family.
