The mountains and lakes brought Janice to Kelowna in 2024, from Edmonton, Alberta where she has been practicing as a physical therapist since 2006. She graduated from the University of Alberta in the first Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy program. She gained experience working and doing locum coverage at numerous clinics before she partnered with a colleague to start up a busy sports and orthopedics clinic in Edmonton in 2011. Janice has a keen interest in restoring movement patterns with IMS/dry needling. With having close collaborations with various dentists, hand therapists, and chiropractors in the past, she has extensive experience working with neck, jaw, hand, and back injuries. She is also certified in spinal manipulation and basic TCM acupuncture. Although petite, don’t underestimate her strength! Janice regularly works out, runs, and partakes in a wide range of activities such as pickle ball, Pilates, skiing, golfing, and ball hockey.
