Tao of Trauma First Appointment

Tao of Trauma is a method of treatment that includes touch and guided practices that may or may not be combined with acupuncture to support people with symptoms related to PTSD and C-PTSD. The Tao of Trauma is a system developed by Alaine Duncan, L.Ac., SEP, that integrates Chinese medicine theory, the stages of traumatic response, and polyvagal theory. In a first treatment, you can expect to talk with Laura for about thirty or so minutes, to sit together and get oriented to the basics, and to have a first treatment that is designed based on what you have discovered together.
