Carolyn begin practicing Acupuncture and Manual Therapy in 2002. She is a graduate of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (San Francisco). Her bodywork journey has included deep tissue, Thai massage, and Tui Na (Chinese sports massage), now she uses subtle techniques from Osteopathy which are effective at reducing pain and restoring movement, while gentle in their execution. Acupuncture treatments with Carolyn are like a warm hug (from a porcupine ; ). Sessions focus on orthopedic issues (pain, injury, movement dysfunction, scar tissue) as well as constitutional concerns (digestion, sleep, mental health, etc.). affecting the foundation of health. Carolyn spent 15 years as a teacher of yoga and partner acrobatics; disciplines which inform her movement practice, along with functional movement, Egoscue corrective exercise, and weight-training.

Initial Consult & Treatment

For patients establishing care for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, acute or chronic pain, scar tissue release, and post-surgical support, as well as constitutional conditions (digestive, sleep, immune, mental health). * Also for existing patients with a new condition and/or whose last appointment was over a year ago.
