Second, I endeavor to educate you and give you some form of take-home tools to assist your own self-care empowerment—herbs, exercises, dietary and lifestyle advice, or a combination.” Summer Nemri, LAc, EAMP, received her BS in Herbal Sciences from Bastyr University in 2005 and went on to earn her MS in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine in 2008. Summer has been thoroughly trained in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture as well as Japanese Acupuncture/Meridian Therapy techniques, Acutonics, Detox (Auricular and Body) Acupuncture, Nogier auricular Acupuncture, Tui-Na (Asian bodywork therapeutic massage), and Western and Eastern Herbal medicine. She also offers helpful lifestyle, exercise, and dietary recommendations in conjunction with each client’s unique presentation. Summer incorporates Tui-Na massage into almost every acupuncture treatment as a way to further assist the flow of energy into areas where it may not be reaching its optimum level.
