Janel is a chiropractic resident at University of Western States completing her final year of practicum at Active Motion Spine and Rehab. Originally from Taiwan, Janel moved to New York City to complete her undergraduate degree in Economics and was working in Digital Marketing before relocating to Portland to pursue her education in chiropractic. Outside of school and clinic, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, hiking, and traveling. Janel is eager to expand her knowledge and proficiency in chiropractic manipulations, functional rehabilitation, and soft tissue techniques to help people get back to their daily living and beyond. She is committed to empowering her patients through movement and education, fostering a deeper understanding of their own bodies.
