Jomar graduated from Wellspring School of Allied Health as a Massage Therapist in 2018. His interests drew him to placing focus in Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Massage and Trigger Point Therapy. Jomar incorporates techniques and movements derived from his involvement in martial arts, namely Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Having suffered an injury during training, Jomar was first introduced to bodywork by a practitioner at his local mma gym. Elated by the restored range of motion and relief after a single short session, this experience propelled him to start his journey in the field of Massage Therapy. Jomar uses his background in various disciplines to provide treatment that incorporates progressive and acutely sensitive pressure. This approach allows for both the release of tension within the muscle and the promotion of increased circulation in the body that aids in making the effects of therapeutic massage last. Outside of work, Jomar enjoys playing music and tinkering with audio equipment.
