Born in the Philippines and raised in Regina, SK, Allyssa brings diverse experience across healthcare, wellness, community health promotion, and customer service. She completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan after earning a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology with Distinction. Her clinical training includes pediatrics, acute care, post-surgical rehabilitation, private practice, and an international placement in Vietnam focused on community development and supporting children with disabilities. Allyssa is deeply committed to community involvement and advocacy. She has volunteered in student-led clinics, worked with athletes as a student trainer, supported recreational programs for people with acquired brain injuries, and spent many years helping organize and perform Filipino folk dance within Regina’s cultural community. Allyssa enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities and has additional training in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Trauma-Informed Care, and Psychological First Aid. Outside of practice, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, travel, fashion, taking barre classes, and being in nature.
