Jean-Louis (Jlo) has been a practicing Massage Therapist since 2021, and is also currently part of the BC Lion's massage treatment team and a clinic instructor at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. He takes interest in the treatment of sports related injuries and orthopedic rehabilitation; particularly conditions involving the shoulders, low back, and foot/ankle complex. Jlo's hands on treatments use Swedish massage as a base and will usually include active or passive range of motion, stretching, and joint mobilisations. His general approach to care involves using treatments as an entry point back into a painful movement or activity, and homecare to gradually build tolerance. The goal is to help patients stay engaged in meaningful activities throughout recovery.
