Acupuncture is inserting a hair-thin needle into the acupuncture points with the appropriate combination, to bring the energy flow back into proper balance. It is placed where nerves, muscles and connective tissue can be stimulated and increases blood flow while at the same time triggering the activity of the body’s natural painkiller endorphins. Motor point/Trigger point acupuncture is different from regular acupuncture where it reset contracted muscle to restore joints to their normal function while reducing or eliminating pain and tendonitis in very few treatments.
For New Patients of Acupuncture in the Clinic. Acupuncture is an ancient, safe and effective alternative to medication and, in some cases, surgery. Acupuncture stimulates the release of endorphins – the body’s natural pain-relieving neurohormones – through the insertion of needles into specific anatomical points (acupuncture points) to encourage natural healing.
