Carly’s practice is rooted in a deep appreciation for the body’s innate ability to heal itself when given the proper support. As an acupuncturist and herbalist, Carly utilizes her extensive training to help her clients achieve optimal health and well-being. In addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine, Carly also incorporates a variety of manual therapies such as cupping, gua-sha, and moxabustion into her practice to provide natural, gentle, and effective healing for the whole body. Originally from Seward, Alaska, Carly completed her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Dongguk University Los Angeles in 2017. She is a Nationally Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), a Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist, and holds state licenses to practice Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in both Alaska and California. Carly’s passion for traditional Chinese medicine and her caring approach to patient care make her a trusted and effective practitioner. Your first visit begins with a thorough intake — we look at the whole picture, not just the symptom that brought you in. From there, we move into your first acupuncture treatment, tailored to what your body actually needs that day. Cupping or gua sha may be incorporated if clinically indicated.
