Ahhee Born and raised on the Navajo Nation, my journey is rooted in the strength of my ancestors and a dedication to our people. In 2005, I moved to Phoenix with my mother and siblings to pursue education, yet my heart remained tied to the Rez. I rotated between the city and my homeland to care for my late grandfather, Franklin Morris Sr. (Naschitti/Fort Wingate, NM)an Army National Guard Veteran, retired Navajo Nation Deputy Police Chief, and retired McKinley County Undersheriff. He was widowed to Martha Lee Morris (Oak Springs/Pine Springs, AZ), a dedicated Superintendent, Paralegal, and healthcare professional. Coming from a lineage of natural healers on both sides, I was nearly an apprentice in our traditional ways. However, I chose to expand my focus beyond a single community to serve everyone across the Navajo Nation equally. I understand the hardships our ancestors faced due to language barriers due my 3 greats are survivors from the "Hweldi," and I am committed to translating the countless benefits of our cultural teachings into modern wellness for the younger generations. As a Licensed Professional Massage Therapist, I have dedicated myself not only to clinical excellence but to the lifelong journey of relearning my natural-born language and a fraction Navajo Nation Elementary Boarding School experience. I carry this responsibility in honor of our Ancestors, ensuring that the healing I provide is grounded in the tongue they spoke. By reclaiming my language, I bridge the gap between modern therapy and the cultural wisdom that was passed down through generations, ensuring our teachings remain vibrant and accessible for the future of the Navajo Nation.
