Travis graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. He completed a double degree with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). He is also qualified in myofascial dry needling and cupping. Travis has a love for Osteopathy that stems from many years of playing football and tennis while growing up in Australia. During this time, he sustained several different injuries which led to his introduction to Osteopathy and is where his passion for the profession began. As an Osteopath, Travis enjoys treating a wide range of conditions and loves the challenge of helping patients determine the root cause of their pain and dysfunction. There is nothing that gives Travis greater fulfilment and satisfaction than seeing patients improve their overall health, performance and quality of life. While he loves all aspects of Osteopathy, he has a special interest in lower back and neck disorders. His treatment approach is largely hands-on and primarily direct in nature. He will often utilize techniques such as soft tissue massage, muscle energy techniques, dry needling, manipulation and joint articulation. Depending on the patient’s concerns, he may also use an indirect approach such as the counterstrain technique to help relieve pain and improve overall function.
