Physiotherapist Teresa Gravelle (BScPT, MClScPT, FCAMPT, CAFCI, CGIMS), has been working in physiotherapy for over 35 years. She graduated from McGill University with a BSc in physiotherapy and worked in New Zealand and Australia early in her career. She has been in private practice for the past 30 years. In 1997, she obtained her advanced diploma in Manual/Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). She has taught and mentored students in the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) Manual Therapy courses for last 25 years. In 1998, she obtained her Certificate with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (CAFCI) and in 2012 she obtained her Gunn IMS certification (dry needling). She graduated from Western University with a Masters of Clinical Science in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy in 2008 and in 2012 she was a recipient of the CPA’s “Clinical Specialist designation in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy”. Over the years, Teresa has taken over 100 post-graduate courses. Teresa likes to use an eclectic person-centered approach in her treatments. This involves lots of education, manual therapy, acupuncture/IMS and exercises tailored to the individual. She sees people of all ages and enjoys complex cases. En 1997, elle a obtenu son diplôme avancé en physiothérapie manuelle/manipulative (FCAMPT). Elle a enseigné et encadré des étudiants dans les cours de thérapie manuelle de la Division Orthopédique de l’Association Canadienne de Physiothérapie (CPA) depuis 25 ans. En 1998, elle a obtenu son Certificat avec la Fondation d’Acupuncture du Canada (CAFCI) et en 2012, elle a obtenu sa certification Gunn IMS (dry needling). Elle a été diplômée de l’Université Western avec une maîtrise en sciences cliniques en physiothérapie musculosquelettique (MSK) en 2008 et en 2012, elle a été récipiendaire de la “Désignation de Spécialiste Clinique en Physiothérapie Musculosquelettique” de la CPA. Au fil des ans, Teresa a suivi plus de 100 cours de post-graduation. Teresa aime utiliser une approche éclectique centrée sur la personne dans ses traitements. Cela implique beaucoup d’éducation, de thérapie manuelle, d’acupuncture/IMS et d’exercices adaptés à l’individu. Elle voit des personnes de tous âges et apprécie les cas complexes.
