Allison joins ReActive Physiotherapy as an experienced therapist having worked in private practice, public-funded health care, academics, and research. Allison completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Regis University in Denver, Colorado after her entry level Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in London, and a Bachelors of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Allison has completed post-graduate training in Integrated Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Urban Pole and Activator Pole Walking Instruction, BoneFit for Osteoporsis and Breast Cancer Rehabilitation. Allison is excited to assess and treat patients dealing with osteoarthritis before and following total joint replacement surgery and aging athletes. In 2019 Allison became an Instructor with the Good Living with osteoarthritis in Denmark (GLA:D) exercise program. She combines her extensive knowledge of exercise and manual therapy into compassionate care for women during breast cancer treatment and into healthy living during survivorship. Away from the clinic you can find Allison volunteering at her children’s school, coaching, playing tennis, hockey or training as a recreational triathlete. She is a proud member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the current Member-At-Large for the London Orthopaedic Unit of the Canadian Orthopeadic Association
