Kristen has over 23 years of experience as a physiotherapist and earned a graduate degree in Exercise Physiology as well as a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. She owns Blueberry Therapy, a clinic focused on pelvic health and pediatric therapy in Dundas, Ontario. In 2020, Kristen received the Women of Distinction Award in the Small Business category from the YWCA. Her diverse experience includes working with children and adults in hospitals, children’s treatment centers, outpatient clinics, and home care. Passionate about research and evidence-based practice, she serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University's School of Rehabilitation Science. Kristen specializes in pelvic health rehabilitation, treating issues like incontinence, pelvic pain, and sexual dysfunction in both adults and children. She is also trained in assessing and fitting pessaries for women, with nearly a decade of experience.
