Cynara Povoa is an advanced practice Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with over two decades of international clinical experience across Brazil and Canada. She was drawn to pelvic health after seeing how often complex women’s health concerns were dismissed, misunderstood, or left untreated. Today, she bridges the gap between specialized surgical knowledge and functional recovery, creating a dedicated space where patients feel truly heard, respected, and supported with expert, evidence-based care. With 25 years of expertise—including a post-baccalaureate specialization from the Federal University of São Paulo and Canadian bridging certification from the University of Alberta—Cynara has mentored medical specialists and dedicated her career to complex pelvic floor rehabilitation. For her, the most rewarding part of being a clinician is empowering people through education, helping them deeply understand their bodies, and providing the tools they need to regain their confidence and quality of life. Outside of the clinic, Cynara loves exploring the outdoors and traveling the world to immerse herself in local cultures and lifestyles.
