Dr. Jenn Turner completed her Bachelors Degree in Physical Education at Brock University in St. Catharine’s, Ontario. After graduating, she continued her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic. After a number of years gaining experience in the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada)’s sports residency program, Dr. Turner passed the exam to accomplish her Chiropractic Sports Sciences fellowship program in November 2017, thus qualifying her as a Chiropractic Sport Specialist. Jenn is a fully certified Active Release Techniques practitioner as well as being trained in Graston Techniques and practices out of her clinic Movéo Sport & Rehabilitation Centre in both locations, North Vancouver (opened 2006) and Walnut Grove (2017). Her expertise as a sports chiropractor has taken Jenn around the world with her job with Cycling Canada. Her career highlights include working at FOUR summer OLYMPIC GAMES including 2012 in London, England and the 2016 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, 2021 in Tokyo and most recently 2024 in Paris. Jenn has been working with Cycling Canada during the past 16 years in the Track, Road and BMX programs and is thrilled to use different skillsets with each cycling discipline. Currently she does most of her travels with the National BMX program, for which Jenn is working hard as part of the IST team to ensure the program’s success leading to LA in 2028. She is part of the NSSMAC team with Sport Scientist Canada and OTP/COC medical groups, working closely with many of the top sport therapists and doctors in the country. Jenn’s involvement in cycling in deep as she has experience working with the Professional Cycling Team Sky out of Great Britian and has worked with a number of other professional Olympic and amateur athletes. has travelled to Europe as part of the medical team for the National Bobsled and Skeleton teams where they were competing in the Europa Cup Circuit. Jenn has been the “Injuries” columnist for Triathlon Magazine Canada and has contributed to the Triathlon BC publication, IMPACT magazine and many others. Jenn is also athlete herself. Dr. Turner’s involvement in triathlon began at age 18 as part of the junior national team, then progressed to winning the gold medal at the long course amateur triathlon world championships in Denmark in 2005. After 5 Ironmans, Jenn is competing now semi-recreationally while figuring out the mommy/work/life/travel balance with her two active kiddos.
