Andrew graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, Minnesota in 2002 after four intensive years of training and an internship in Saskatoon, to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to entering chiropractic training, he completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba. In 2003, he began practicing with the establishment of Bow River Chiropractic Clinic. His Chiropractic practice focuses on treating musculoskeletal conditions such as back and neck pain. He believes in treating the problematic condition quickly and educating patients in measures to prevent re-occurrences. He has taken extra training in Laser Therapy to treat sport and joint injuries, and Orthotic Therapy for foot conditions. Dr. Janzen has also completed his Medical Acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute(AFCI). Acupuncture allows him to treat a wider variety of painful muscle and joint conditions. Dr. Janzen is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling, also called Functional Dry Needling. Andrew grew up in Thunder Bay Ontario and was introduced as a teenager to Chiropractic for the treatment of back pain. He now resides in Cochrane with his wife and two daughters.
On your first visit the chiropractor will ask you to fill in a health history form and then they will review your history and current health with you. They will perform a full examination, explain your condition, and provide treatment options. Your first treatment is generally included within this appointment if indicated.
