Anne Marcalo has been a Massage Therapist since 1985, living most of her life in Sonoma County. Early in her career she worked as a massage therapist on cruise ships. Later, she became certified to massage horses. Anne has also been a flight attendant for the past 29 years, retiring in April of 2021, and simultaneously worked part time as a Massage Therapist at an athletic club. She has studied Orthopedic Massage Therapy with James Waslaski CMT CPT (a pioneer in the field of pain free, manual therapy). In 2014 she also became a Certified Essentrics Instructor and has taught classes, helping clients heal, re-balance, lengthen, and strengthen. Anne graduated from University of California, Davis with a degree in Dietetics. Her past sports included USVBA volleyball, and equestrian dressage. She comes from a family of soccer and tennis players.
