Dr. Jennifer Charron graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Degree in Biology minoring in Psychology and Music. She went on to further pursue her interest in Medicine by completing four years of study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Charron is a Registered Naturopathic Doctor, Licensed with The Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy –Naturopathy (BDDT-N) and certified by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE). She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). Always looking to enhance her skill base, Dr.Charron has adjunctive training in IV Parenteral Therapy, Bioimpedence Analysis, and Stress Management from Harvard Medical, Mind/Body Medical Institute. She continues to further her education to remain current on Naturopathic research and methodologies. Dr. Charron’s passion for health, drives her primary objective of increasing health awareness among the Kitchener/Waterloo Region workforce. To this end, she works as a healthcare consultant servicing firms in the Waterloo area such as BlackBerry, providing seminars to local corporations, small businesses and organizations at No Charge. Dr. Charron is also the Director of Medicine at The Natural Way Health Clinic, a setting of tranquility and healing located in downtown Waterloo. The Natural Way is a multidisciplinary clinic offering services in Naturopathic, Chiropractic, Counselling, Acupuncture, Nutrition, and Registered massage therapy. As a primary health care provider, Dr. Charron has gained experience in treating a wide spectrum of acute, chronic, degenerative and stress related medical conditions. Her areas of special interest include but are not limited to: Acute colds/flu, Pediatrics, Kidney/Bladder Infections, Immune Support, Stress Management (anxiety, insomnia, fatigue), Headaches/Migraines, Women’s Health (irregular cycles, menopausal difficulties, infertility, hormonal imbalances, PMS, fibrocystic breasts), Osteoporosis, Endocrine Imbalances, Skin Disorders (acne, eczema, psoriasis), and Fibromyalgia.
