Asya is a Registered Physiotherapist with a true passion for helping people. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she completed the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy Degree. Prior to this, she obtained the Honours Bachelor of Science Degree with Biology and Psychology majors. Asya is dedicated to life-long learning and continuing education and has completed numerous post-professional courses, including dizziness and vestibular rehabilitation, myofascial release, K-taping, sports taping, Lynn Watson’s shoulder course, vestibular therapy, as well as Level 1 – 5 manual therapy courses. Asya is working towards completing her post-professional Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists. She is also a certified pelvic floor therapist, and is able to assess and treat issues such as incontinence, prolapse, as well as help with improving the overall function of the pelvic floor. Asya’s expertise is in treating numerous musculoskeletal conditions in a wide variety of clients, regardless of age and level of athletic ability. Her comprehensive approach to care incorporates a hands-on approach, an individualized muscle-retraining program, and education to empower her clients. She has much success rehabilitating clients and empowering them to be active participants in their own recovery. In her free time Asya enjoys leading an active lifestyle that involves pilates and dancing. She also enjoys listening to music, reading, and watching soccer.

A one-on-one assessment completed with your pelvic health physiotherapist that includes a detailed history of your concerns and a thorough physical assessment. An internal exam may or may not be completed on the first day depending on your comfort level. Every assessment will include an explanation of your diagnosis and a treatment plan to help you reach your goals.
