Shannon Hanson was raised on a farm just outside of Houston, MN, where she started massaging her family members at the age of 7. She was in the Honors program at St. Cloud State University, majoring in English, when she decided to switch her focus and pursue massage therapy instead. She went to massage school in Rochester, MN, at Sister Rosalind Gefre's Schools and Clinics of Massage, where she cultivated a passion for understanding how the body works, and how massage can improve health. She truly loves helping others be in less pain and improving their quality of life. She lives in La Crosse, WI with her husband of almost 10 years and their 2 boys, aged 7 and 5. She loves spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking, and creating art.
