Kyla started her journey as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2001 studying at Sutherland-Chan in Toronto. After graduating in 2003, she moved to the British Virgin Islands, where she got hand-selected to work on Richard Branson’s private Island. While on Necker island she worked on the rich and famous as a massage therapist and yoga instructor. Truly an exceptional experience to work with the lovely Branson family. After a year in the BVI, she returned to Toronto to have her son. That’s when her passion for working with pregnancy and parenthood was ignited and she started to work full-time at the Ella Centre for Pregnancy and Parenting. There she worked solely on women and infants. When the centre closed its doors, she continued working with families in their homes. Bringing premium care to new families is where she thrived for many years and still remains a place of deep experience and knowledge. Soon after Balance Integrated Healthcare found her and made her an integral part of their team. Working in a collaborated team with other Massage Therapist, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Acupuncturists, and Naturopathic Doctors. Now her passion is caring and educating people with a wide variety of conditions. Kyla is a dancer, weight-lifter, and endurance athlete who has an intense love for the great outdoors. She now spends her leisure time back-country camping, hiking, snowboarding, and cycling far and wide. She thrives in feeding her adventurous spirit and testing her limits on a regular basis.
