Dr. Michael Martin Dr. Martin is a board-certified chiropractor with an extensive background in human biomechanics, injury prevention, and functional rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Martin received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. In addition to his chiropractic training, Dr. Martin has attained specialized certification in a number of complementary treatment modalities, including Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston Technique Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Kinesio Taping (CKTP). He has also received recognition as a Functional Movement Systems Professional (FMS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. Martin has worked with a variety of patients throughout his career, both locally and abroad. Whether treating ‘classic’ chiropractic cases, those involving soft tissue injuries, or looking after elite athletes at the collegiate, Olympic, and professional levels, Dr. Martin’s diverse and integrative approach to healthcare enables him to help his patients achieve their health and wellness goals, and live better, more active lives.
