Massage Therapy
This is a type of massage therapy where firm pressure and slower, more specific techniques are performed to the deeper layers of muscle and fascia to break up adhesions and scar tissue. It is used for more chronic pain, injury rehabilitation, lower and upper back pain, sciatica etc.
Reflexology
Reflexology focuses on accessing body systems and organs through corresponding reflex points on the hands, feet and face. Using the energetic meridians, practitioners can stimulate various areas of the body by pressing on specific points, helping to reduce pain, remove blockages in the energetic meridians and clear up many physical conditions including arthritis, injuries, back pain, menstrual disorders, digestive disorders, and hormonal dysfunction.
Lymphatic Drainage
This is a form of gentle manipulation of the skin and soft tissues which encourages lymph drainage throughout the body. The lymphatic system relies on the movement of smooth muscles to transport fluid through the lymph; when this flow is interrupted, fluid backs up in the lymph which can cause swelling and other conditions to arise. This treatment reduces swelling and improves circulation throughout the lymph system so toxins/waste can be eliminated properly.
