Dr. Kirsten Gilmour, DC Dr. Kirsten Gilmour holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from St. Francis Xavier University and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. After several years of practice in the Washington, DC metro area, she’s excited to return to her hometown of Port Perry and bring her experience back to the community she loves. Dr. Kirsten provides evidence-based, patient-centered care with a strong focus on functional movement and long-term recovery. She is trained to assess and treat a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions using a variety of techniques, including chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, soft tissue mobilization, cupping, and individualized exercise prescription. Dr. Kirsten has a special interest in prenatal and postpartum care, including support for pregnancy-related discomfort, C-section recovery, and the physical demands of early motherhood. She is passionate about helping women feel strong and supported throughout every stage of pregnancy and recovery. She also provides gentle, effective care for infants and children, supporting healthy development and addressing common pediatric concerns. Her goal is to empower families with care that’s both effective and compassionate.
