Brad works out of our 2nd location, in unit 206-2630 Croydon Drive. Please ensure you are booking online via the 2nd floor, unit 206 location if you do not see any available appointments. Available Monday- Thursday and some Saturdays. Registered Massage Therapist and Weight Trainer, Brad grew up in the Fleetwood area of Surrey. He began working with the public as a weight trainer at the Surrey Sport & Leisure Center (SSLC) for four years. It was there that he became interested in massage therapy in order to qualify as a competent healthcare practitioner. He has designed training programs for UBC varsity athletes, treated people with multiple sclerosis and various degenerative neurological conditions at the George Pearson Centre, and volunteered over 50 hours of treatment time with the Nike Runners Lounge along Vancouver’s seawall during his schooling at West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Brad has continued his education with courses in Systemic Tissue Release, Assessment and Treatment for the low back and pelvis. In the upcoming years he’ll complete his Bachelor in Health Science. Brad’s interest is in finding the root of the problem, not simply treating the symptoms, and in educating his patients so that they can participate in their own healing and further wellbeing. His modalities include Swedish massage, trigger point release, fascial and myofascial release, muscle-energy technique and PNF stretching and strengthening work, and he employs these techniques to enable the neurological and musculoskeletal systems to achieve homeostasis (a stable state).
