Mend Acupuncture
Dr. Tamara Ferguson, D.Ac., L.Ac. was drawn to acupuncture after experiencing transformational healing for back pain and reproductive health. She earned her Doctorate of Acupuncture at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies. Through acupuncture and holistic therapies, Tamara helps clients overcome physical and emotional barriers to restore balance and wellness. She treats a range of conditions, including back pain, sciatica, anxiety, depression, digestive issues, insomnia, immune concerns, and neurological disorders. Her approach integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Five Element, and Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM). She is also a Master-level Reiki practitioner and a certified Acupuncture Detox Specialist. With a background as a corporate professional, competitive athlete, and Virginia Military Institute cadet, Tamara knows firsthand what it’s like to push through physical, mental, and emotional challenges. Those experiences shaped her belief in the body’s innate ability to heal and inspired her to help others find relief, balance, and renewed energy through acupuncture. Outside of clinic, Tamara enjoys woodworking, hiking, and reading.
