Alexis graduated from the University of British Columbia with her Master of Physical Therapy degree. Before pursuing her physiotherapy degree, she earned an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University. Originally from Ontario, Alexis grew up ski racing competitively. Her passion for sport and physical activity, combined with a strong desire to help others, inspired her to pursue a career in physiotherapy. Alexis’ treatment philosophy emphasizes active client involvement at every stage of the rehabilitation journey. She strongly believes in the power of education, helping clients better understand their bodies, their injuries, and the rehabilitation process. Her approach combines hands-on manual therapy with individualized exercise programs to help clients achieve their goals—whether that means reducing pain, returning to sport, or preventing future injury. Alexis has experience and enjoys working with a wide range of clients—including athletes, pediatrics and teens, and individuals managing acute and chronic injuries across all activity levels. Outside the clinic, Alexis loves spending her free time mountain biking, trail running, and skiing!
