Dr. Nicole Purdie is an associate naturopathic doctor at Bronte Wellness Boutique. She received her undergraduate degree from McMaster University majoring in Kinesiology, with a minor in psychology. Her passion for health and wellness started in her role as a personal trainer throughout her academic career, which led her to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she earned her graduate degree as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She is registered and licensed with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, and a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Doctors. “I believe in an evidence-informed, integrative and wellness-oriented approach to medicine. You don’t have to wait until you feel “bad enough” to take action, and it’s never too late to start optimizing your health. Using detailed interviewing, blood work and functional testing, my goal is to identify the root cause of your concerns, teach you how to manage it and support you in your journey to wellness! Conditions I am passionate about treating include integrative cancer care, weight management, women’s health, thyroid concerns, gut health, mental health and metabolic disease (like hypertension and diabetes). However, I am committed to exploring any health concerns you may have, using the best possible research available.” Outside of clinic, I lead an active life in which I enjoy all things fitness, outdoors and social! I will never turn down a workout, hike with my beloved dachshund, or dinner with friends and family!

Our Naturopathic Doctors are all trained 4 years in Traditional Chinese Medicine and can assess and treat you both with traditional or pain based acupuncture techniques.
