Manpreet “Manny” Nijjar graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Kinesiology before completing her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University in Ontario. Since graduating, she has gained diverse clinical experience practicing in both Canada and the United States, primarily in outpatient orthopaedic and pelvic health settings. She has continued to expand her clinical training through additional education in pelvic health, dry needling, and STOTT PILATES Rehabilitation. Manny’s areas of interest include orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation, strength and exercise-based care, and pelvic health physiotherapy. Within pelvic health, she works with concerns related to pregnancy and postpartum recovery, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain. Manny takes the time to understand what matters most to each client and combines exercise, education, and hands-on treatment to help them better understand their body, build strength and confidence in movement, and return to the activities that are important to them. Outside of the clinic, Manny enjoys staying active through strength training, running, and trying different workouts. She also loves travelling, exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, binge-watching new TV shows, and spending time with her family and her French bulldog, Piggy.
