Aniyah brings to Soma Discovery several years of experience in the mental and behavioral health field, where she received extensive training in trauma-informed care, peer support, crisis intervention, and somatic embodiment practices. This foundation deeply informs her therapeutic approach, allowing her to meet clients with sensitivity, collaboration, and an understanding of how life experiences are held within the body. Her sessions combine movement with neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release techniques to address chronic tension, improve mobility, and unwind long-held postural patterns. She also offers a gentler, more intentional approach to deep tissue massage, incorporating Swedish massage and somatic rocking to support nervous system regulation and create lasting, sustainable change. Aniyah graduated from the 800-hour Massage Therapy Program at East West College of the Healing Arts in 2025. She completed her Reiki Master Initiation in 2023 and has cultivated an energy practice rooted in her cultural lineage, thoughtfully integrating energetic awareness into her bodywork when it aligns with her clients’ goals. Her current studies focus on Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as abdominal and pelvic health. She is trained in External Pelvic Floor Manual Therapy and is continuing her education in Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist Abdominal Massage). This work is deeply personal to Aniyah. After navigating years of pelvic and abdominal pain related to cumulative childhood and adult trauma, she experienced firsthand the challenges of finding knowledgeable, trans-affirming pelvic floor practicioners. Those experiences inspired her to become an External Pelvic Floor Practitioner, with the goal of expanding access to compassionate, trauma-informed pelvic health services. Aniyah is especially passionate about supporting transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive individuals in feeling safe, respected, and cared for within therapeutic bodywork. She is honored to offer pelvic health services to the trans-expansive community through Soma Discovery and is committed to providing care that is affirming, collaborative, and centered on each person’s unique experience.

This session includes time for intake, hands-on massage, and changing. Relaxation, stress relief, and addressing specific areas of tension.
