Dr. Lopes is a Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated in 2005 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). She obtained her BSc. degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. She then went on to complete her MSc. in Kinesiology at York University in 2008 and concurrently completed her Sports Chiropractic Fellowship program in 2011 through the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada) (RCCSS(C)). Between 2005-2010, she has worked with the Ontario and National Training Centre soccer teams at the Soccer Centre in Vaughan, as well she has attended international soccer trips to the U.S.A., Chile and Brazil. She was also the team doctor for the United Soccer League Lady Lynx Soccer Team from 2005-2008. More recently she was a chiropractor for the 2015 Pan Am & Para Pan Am Games in Toronto. Dr. Lopes’ other passions include salsa dancing, traveling the world, photography, learning Spanish, American Sign Language (ASL) and long-distance running.
