Gichul (Gilbert) Bae is an acupuncturist and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P.) in British Columbia. He earned his Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University in Anaheim, California, in 2009 and began his clinical career in Los Angeles. While working at a pain management clinic in Los Angeles, he worked alongside an orthopedic physician and gained extensive experience treating patients with acute and chronic pain. Through this experience, he developed a strong focus on pain management and musculoskeletal conditions. He then joined a Chinese medicine clinic in Newport Beach, where he primarily treated patients with digestive and gastrointestinal concerns, as well as those seeking weight management. His professional experience also extends internationally. In Korea, he served as an instructor in a nursing assistant training program, and he later practised acupuncture and herbal medicine in Malaysia. These diverse experiences have shaped his practical, individualized, and patient-centred approach to care. In his practice, he works with patients experiencing acute and chronic pain, neck and back pain, shoulder pain, joint and muscle discomfort, headaches and migraines, digestive concerns, stress and sleep issues, as well as those seeking support for overall wellness. He takes the time to understand each patient's individual needs and develops treatment plans tailored to their specific concerns and goals. Outside the clinic, he enjoys playing golf, cooking, travelling, and going for walks. He values staying active, spending time with family, and discovering good food and new experiences. He also believes in giving back to his community through volunteer work.
