As a Physiotherapist with an interest in women’s health, I enjoy working with a diverse clientele of all ages and believe in the body’s ability to heal through mindful movement. I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, and later obtained a Masters’ Degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy practice (2012) from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom. As a firm believer in lifelong learning, I have 19 years experience (from Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and Canada) in women’s health, musculoskeletal and geriatric practice which has influenced my biopsychosocial approach to the management of various conditions. I place a high value on the therapeutic relationship with my clients and my treatment approach is a mix of hands-on, exercise prescription, and client education to name a few. I love spending my free time reading books on various subjects from the history of civilization to mindfulness and the power of positive thinking. I have also recently developed a love for Yoga and meditation.
