Julia is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) located in Midland, ON. Julia’s journey with Traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture began when she required physical rehabilitation and decided to try acupuncture, after she was not responding to other recommended therapies. It was through her own experiences and positive results that Julia discovered the transformative benefits of acupuncture, and it was at this point that she knew she needed to dedicate her life to sharing Traditional Chinese medicine with others. In 2022, she graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Acupuncture from Georgian College, achieving honours with distinction in her program. Julia has also received her certification in Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture by the OCTCM, and is always looking to add to her current skill set with other courses and certifications. Julia practices the modalities under the scope of Traditional Chinese medicine, and was trained with 500 supervised hours performing acupuncture, electroacupuncture, moxibustion, cupping therapy, gua sha, and tui na therapy. In practice, Julia ensures that through open communication and active listening, her patients feel heard and understood during their treatments. As a previous patient herself, Julia is passionate about providing an alternate form of healthcare to her patients, where they can feel comfortable, and that their concerns and needs are acknowledged and incorporated into their treatment. She believes that educating her patients, rather than just providing care, will empower them to become an active party in their own healing journey. Julia is a fully insured and registered acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) and is certified in Clean Needle Technique.
This is a facial treatment that involves gua sha, cupping, sculptural tui na massage therapy, and LED red-blue light therapy on the face and décolletage. It is intended to target skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, discolouration, texture and tone, promote lymphatic drainage, and aims to contour and lift the tissues of face while promoting healthy blood flow to the area. This treatment will leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed and glowing, without the use of acupuncture needles. Please note this treatment may not be covered under most extended health benefit plans.
