PREM Wellness was founded by Dr. Jip Prem, DAcCHM, L.Ac., OLY — Olympian, World Medalist, licensed acupuncturist in Boulder, Colorado, and board-certified by NCBAHM. She holds both her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences, with an orthopedic concentration. Her approach to care is shaped by a unique background as both a clinician and former elite athlete. Years of high-level training and international competition provided a deep understanding of the body — how it performs, compensates, recovers, and heals. This perspective continues to influence her work in pain management, sports recovery, rehabilitation, facial rejuvenation, holistic wellness, and helping patients move more comfortably and efficiently. Dr. Prem has also trained in Japanese-style acupuncture, including Shonishin pediatric care, which emphasizes gentle and precise techniques designed to support the body naturally and comfortably. In addition to her clinical work, she is a mother of two and actively works with children and athletes, bringing a compassionate, practical, and individualized approach to patient care.
