Elisa Halma is a clinic intern and in her fourth year of study at Yo San University pursuing her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine degree. Elisa is particularly interested in understanding the mind-body connection and how it contributes to longevity and a purposeful peaceful life. Elisa’s experience with qi cultivation and Taoist studies inspires her to treat patients seeking balanced vitality, graceful aging and fertility for both men and women. Prior to studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, Elisa had conservatory training in concert dance, classical singing and theatre and embodies the wisdom and virtues from these art forms as she holistically approaches each patient. Elisa is a Certified Instructor through College of Tao and currently teaches Self-Healing Qigong to the public Monday mornings 8-9am on the Yo San University campus.
