Sogand has a passion for helping patients restore their pelvic health through physiotherapy. She discovered her passion for pelvic health many years ago after discovering how physiotherapy can help patients restore their pelvic health through continuing education courses. Sogand graduated from Shahid Beheshti University in Iran, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She also completed the Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at A.T. Still University in Arizona. Sogand is a Registered Physiotherapist with specific training in the management and treatment of incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapses, constipation and the pregnant and postpartum pelvis. She also has experience treating acute injuries from sporting and motor vehicle accidents, chronic musculoskeletal impairment, and post-surgical conditions. Her motivation is to help patients improve their quality of life and regain their feeling of independence through physiotherapy management.

This initial 60 minute appointment will allow your pelvic floor therapist to fully assess your condition and establish a treatment plan to help you achieve your treatment goals. This appointment will also include the start of your treatment with your therapist. Please note if booking with the Pelvic Floor therapist Vanna Mach she is trained to treat the following: Pre and Post Natal , Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Stress Incontinence, Urge Incontenence/Frequency. It is best to contact us by phone if you are unsure which therapist would suit you best as we do have several different level of therapists trained in all areas of Pelvic Physiotherapy .
