Dr. Katie Au, B.Sc. Kin (Hons), D.C., R.Ac, D.Ac, CSCS, FCCRS(C), ART, GT Doctor of Chiropractic Dr. Katie Au is a board-certified Rehab Specialist Chiropractor with a clinical focus on sports medicine, acupuncture, prenatal, and postpartum care. With over 18 years of experience as a sports chiropractor, she helps athletes, active individuals, and new mothers recover from injury, restore movement, and perform at their best through personalized, evidence-informed treatment and rehabilitation. With a high-level background in the competitive bodybuilding and fitness industry, and extensive experience as a personal trainer, Dr. Katie brings a deep understanding of strength training, injury prevention, and performance optimization to her clinical practice. She is known for her work with competitive runners, elite weight lifters, swimmers, triathletes, gymnasts, and professional hockey players (OHL, PWHL, NHL), combining hands-on therapy with targeted strength and conditioning to address the root cause of pain - not just the symptoms. Her approach integrates manual therapy treatment, movement assessment, rehabilitation and functional training to support effective recovery, reduce the risk of future injury, and optimize performance. Dr. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and certifications in Contemporary Medical & Neurofunctional Acupuncture (McMaster University), Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture, Active Release Technique (ART), Graston Technique, and strength and conditioning as a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She also has advanced training in concussion management and athletic coaching.
