Dr. Juweria is a Licensed Acupuncturist and herbalist at Box Acupuncture in San Jose, CA, with advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a deep-rooted passion for natural healing. Her approach blends evidence-based Eastern medicine with a holistic understanding of the body, mind, and spirit. Her journey into integrative care began in childhood, where herbal remedies were a household staple. While earning her Bachelor’s in Biology, she explored the Western model of healthcare, but soon felt called to bridge it with more natural, holistic methods. This led her to earn both a Master’s and Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM/DTCM) and intern at an international hospital, where she saw firsthand how Eastern and Western medicine can complement one another for optimal patient outcomes. Dr. Juweria provides acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, and nutrition-based lifestyle counseling to restore balance in the body’s internal systems.
