Jesse is one of only two Certified Medical Massage Practitioners in the Dubuque, Iowa area. He is also certified in Lomi Lomi & trained in cupping, deep tissue, Swedish techniques, TENS unit & Myofascial Release. He is a Reiki Practitioner, active member of the American Massage Therapy Association, & licensed & insured to practice in Iowa. Jesse graduated with top honors from Capri College in Dubuque, Iowa.
Massage
This massage may include any/all of the following: Gentle to firm pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create overall wellness. Deep tissue, designed to relieve both muscles and connective tissue below the surface. Cupping, using negative pressure to pull, lift, open and expand the body’s soft tissues to release adhesions, eliminate scar tissue and increase blood flow. TENS unit, using electrical stimulation to break up congestion/trigger points.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle light massage that helps to direct lymphatic fluid towards the lymph nodes. The lymphatic system is part of your immune system and cleans toxins, proteins, cancer cells, viruses, and dead cells about 20 times faster than the body is able to do on it's own. Once a large amount of toxins are eliminated, the body is able to relax more deeply and use it's energy more directly to regenerate the cells.
