Jessica earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and is passionate about helping children reach their full potential. She works with infants and children with a wide range of needs, including developmental delays, neurological conditions, and musculoskeletal concerns. Jessica has completed additional training in Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME), Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), non-invasive spinal electrical stimulation, and functional electrical muscle stimulation. She uses these techniques alongside evidence-based physiotherapy to create individualized treatment plans that support each child’s movement, strength, and independence. In addition to her clinic work, Jessica works casually at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, supporting children recovering from surgery, illness, or complex medical conditions. She is passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where children and their families feel comfortable and empowered. Jessica values building strong relationships with the families she works with and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible. Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, pilates, and reading.

Physiotherapy Assessment

A pediatric physiotherapy assessment is a child-focused evaluation that looks at a child’s physical development, movement skills, and functional abilities. The goal is to understand how a child moves, plays, and participates in daily activities, and to identify any delays, challenges, or physical concerns so an appropriate treatment plan can be created.
