Cathlin (they/them) is a queer, neurodivergent, able-bodied, white Registered Massage Therapist who is deeply grateful to be living as a treaty person on Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded Territory of the Mi’kmaq People. Cathlin started their academic journey with a B.Sc. of Biology from the University of Victoria in 2013, and graduated with honours from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Halifax in 2026. They are an active member of the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS). They bring a thoughtful, person-centred approach to massage therapy, grounded in curiosity, empathy, and respect for the body’s innate capacity to heal. Cathlin cares deeply about creating a space that is supportive and affirming of every client and every body. They are passionate about providing gender affirming care and supporting folks with chronic pain. Cathlin individualizes each treatment session and is happy to offer modifications like positional adjustments, masking, or using gentler treatment methods. Cathlin is a lover of nature, community, art, song, and movement and spends their free time in the trees or bodies of water, painting, curled up with a book, singing in their queer choir, or building community.

First treatments must be one hour because your first assessment is part of the hour, depending on your situation this can be short or long. Assessment helps you and your practitioner to understand the risks and benefits of treatment and ensure you get the most benefit out of your current and future treatments.
