Mitchell holds a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Mount Royal University. His extensive background in sports includes active participation in football, hockey, ultimate frisbee, golf, biking, and running. Having personally experienced the challenges of overcoming injuries, Mitchell is passionate about helping his patients regain confidence and reduce the risk of re-injury, guiding them back to their normal activities. In addition to his role at Skaha Physiotherapy, Mitchell serves as the Physiotherapist for the Penticton Vees, showcasing his commitment to sports-related physiotherapy. His specialized focus on knee injuries, particularly ACL injuries, is backed by advanced care certifications. Mitchell has further expanded his expertise through additional courses in Sports Rehabilitation, Knee Injuries, Shoulder Injuries, Strength and Conditioning, among others. Outside of his professional pursuits, Mitchell finds joy in outdoor activities such as trail running, hiking, and trail biking. He also shares these adventures with his canine companion, Gainer.
