Hyacinth Urrutia

Hyacinth is a Doctor of Acupuncture registered in the Province of Alberta. She graduated from the Grant MacEwan University Acupuncture program. She also completed an Internship at the Third Affiliated Hospital, Henan University of Chinese Medicine in Zhengzhou, China. She treats a variety of conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress, sleep problems, migraines, allergies, asthma, digestive issues, muscle aches and joint pains, nerve issues, numbness and tingling, PMS, dysmenorrhea, fertility concerns, menopause symptoms, and other health concerns. She also has specialized training in treating degenerative eye conditions (macular degeneration, glaucoma, myopia, presbyopia, early stage cataracts, retinitis pigmentosa), and cosmetic acupuncture (facial rejuvenation). As a life-long learner, she is committed to expanding her knowledge to give patients better care. Besides specialized training in Ophthalmic Acupuncture and Cosmetic Acupuncture, she has taken Advanced Electro-Acupuncture courses, Motor Points for pain, neck & shoulder injuries, and Manual Therapy for soft tissue injury.
