Dr. Mailloux’s appreciation for the optimal functioning of the human body is rooted in her athletic background — having grown up as a competitive soccer player and ballet dancer, she sought to learn more about body mechanics and physiology and how they related to the health of an individual. Dr. Mailloux completed a 4-year Bachelor of Science at University of Guelph, majoring in Human Kinetics, followed by a 4-year Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where she received the Canadian Chiropractic Specialty College of Physical & Occupational Rehabilitation award for excellence in rehabilitation as part of her clinical internship. Dr. Mailloux employs a comprehensive assessment style and holistic approach to care. Her treatment style includes a combination of manual muscle work (both hands-on and instrument-assisted), spinal manipulative therapy, rehabilitative exercises and lifestyle modifcations based on an individual’s posture and movement patterns. Dr. Mailloux has provided care for a wide variety of patients, including those with chronic pain, acute pain and sports-related injuries. Dr. Mailloux currently lives downtown Vancouver and enjoys keeping active with yoga, hiking, rock climbing and running.” Questions? Email: [email protected]
