Miriam is an experienced FCAMPT Physiotherapist who completed a post graduate Masters of Clinical Science at Western University. CAMPT-Certified physiotherapists are Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) that have completed post-graduate education and attained internationally-recognized qualifications in hands-on therapy. Since 2012, Miriam has been working as a Physiotherapist treating patients of all ages. Miriam loves connecting with people to determine not only the cause(s) of their symptoms, but to learn their overall lifestyle goals in order to help them return to their favourite work, sport and play activities. Miriam uses a variety of tools and techniques tailored to each individual, including manual therapy, dry needling, acupuncture and therapeutic exercise, and a healthy dose of positivity and enthusiasm. Miriam is interested and has completed extensive post graduate study in the area of vestibular rehabilitation. She is lecturing at Western’s School of Physiotherapy and is a referral source at our clinic for patients experiencing dizziness and balance-issues. Miriam is an outdoors lover, traveller, a long-distance runner and a budding yoga and rock-climbing enthusiast. Be sure to ask her about her recent trip through Asia!
